What Makes The Hole in the Wall a Special Wedding Venue?
We're a 15th-century, Grade II listed building with a mid-17th century addition to the west gable end. Six hundred years of history, right there in the beams.
And if you're wondering about the name, the pub really did have a hole in the wall. Exhausted farmers and workers would grab their real ales through it, then stumble their way home.

Neil, our head chef. He has more than two decades in the food and restaurant business, working in various restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and on board the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship.
Then he opened The Elm Tree Inn in Wisbech. Under Neil, it won rave reviews and numerous awards. Now he's bringing everything that made it a success to The Hole in the Wall.

How much does a wedding reception cost at The Hole in the Wall?
Our packages are £55 (Silver), £75 (Gold) and £85 (Platinum) per person. Each one includes canapés, a welcome drink, your wedding breakfast, white linen, and tea and coffee. Wine, rooms, an evening buffet and a DJ can all be added at a discount.
Can our wedding guests stay overnight?
Yes. We have en-suite rooms with breakfast, and you get a special rate when you book a wedding package.
Can we have an evening wedding party?
Absolutely. Add an evening buffet and a DJ & disco, both discounted with any wedding package.
How many guests can you host for a wedding?
Minimum guest numbers and a maximum capacity apply. Send us your numbers and we'll tell you straight away what works.
Do your wedding menus cater for dietary requirements?
Every menu has vegetarian dishes, let us know about allergies when you book and we'll take care of it.
